Beginning her career with a creative foundation as a fashion illustrator, Tara brought her artistic sensibility and industry insight to the luxury e-commerce world. Her professional journey took shape at Sotheby’s, where she gained valuable experience in auction, retail, and digital sales. During her tenure, she developed a nuanced understanding of the luxury business—particularly the interplay between brand heritage, product value, and market demand.
Tara advanced her specialisation by joining Vestiaire Collective as VIP Consignment Manager. There, she worked closely with top-tier clients, managing the consignment of premium pieces while deepening her knowledge of resale market trends, pricing strategy, and sustainability practices. Her work provided firsthand insight into the life cycle of luxury goods and the economic and environmental benefits of circular fashion.
